When I took over the reins of the company in 2001, I began to reflect deeply on the demanding nature of the boilermaker’s trade and the boiler industry. Growing up, I often saw my grandfather, an experienced boilermaker, come home tired and soiled after his day’s work at the factory. It was the same scenario for my father, René Simoneau, founder of Groupe Simoneau. When I met my husband, Mario Laprise, also a hard-working boilermaker throughout his career, I realized that little had changed over the years in this tough environment. That’s when I made the decision to transform the boiler industry. I wanted to make it cleaner and safer, yes for our customers, but above all for our indispensable boilermakers. Since then, Groupe Simoneau has made it a point of honour to ensure the safety and well-being of all its employees, while continually striving to modernize and beautify the boiler room industry.

As we celebrate 40 years of success and innovation, I would like to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to our history. To my father, the visionary founder of our company, whose legacy continues to inspire us every day. To all the members of the Simoneau clan who have devoted their energy and talent to the evolution of our company. And above all, to our customers and partners, who have placed their trust in us and chosen to work with us.
